Coding Solvation Workshop

The workshop will take place at Hotel Universal in Livorno, Italy.

Reaching Livorno

• Pisa Airport The closest airport is the International Airport “Galileo Galilei” in Pisa, which is only a few kilometers from Livorno, and is served by several national and international carriers (in particular, there are direct flights from Munich to Pisa). From the Airport, a rapid transit service to Pisa’s main train station is available (Pisa Centrale). Livorno main station (Livorno Centrale) can then be easily reached from there (a little more than 15 minutes). Train tickets can be purchased at the station or online (http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en), but not on the trains.
• Florence Airport As an alternative, Florence International Airport “Amerigo Vespucci” is also not too far away. From Florence airport, there is a shuttle service to the main train station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella). From there, Livorno can be easily reached by train (a little more than 1 hour).
• Train Livorno main station (Livorno Centrale) can be easily reached by train. Tickets can be purchased online (http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en) or at the train stations.

Note that, in principle, it is possible to take a Taxi from Pisa Airport to the Hotel. However, this will be quite expensive (60-80 euros).

Reaching the Hotel from Livorno train station

The Hotel can be reached by bus (the line is called “LAM Blu”), from the main train station take the bus in direction “Miramare”. The Hotel is roughly 100 meters from the “Di Antignano 3” Bus stop.
